MyDefence Expands Production Tenfold as Global Demand for Counter-Drone Tech Soars.

Over the past year, our team at MyDefence has experienced explosive growth, more than doubling both our revenue and workforce. Today, we’re stepping up once again to meet surging international demand for counter-drone technology, celebrating the opening of our new production center, which will enable us to increase production capacity by ten times.

MyDefence has become a recognized leader in counter-drone technology. In June, we entered a new chapter with our acquisition by Bridgepoint, a global growth investment firm that shares our vision for innovation in defense. This was followed by a historic framework agreement with NATO, giving member nations easier access to MyDefence’s counter-drone solutions. Now, just five months after breaking ground, we’ve opened a 1,400-square-meter production center in Nørresundby, Denmark, built to sustain our annual growth rates, which have exceeded 100% in recent years.

The new production center was inaugurated on August 27, highlighted by a well-attended panel on international defense and security policy. Key attendees included H.H.K. Prince Joachim, Denmark’s Defense Industry Attaché in Washington D.C., along with Kim Jesper Jørgensen, National Director of Defense Materiel, and other prominent figures in Denmark’s defense sector.

Bridgepoint’s investment has fast-tracked our international expansion, giving us both financial support and access to an extensive network within the defense industry. With this momentum, we’re developing and innovating faster than ever.

Building on our success in Nørresundby, Denmark, we’re planning to replicate this production model in other countries, including the U.S., to keep pace with demand.

Our new production center and the additional facilities we’re planning around the globe reflects MyDefence’s commitment to providing the advanced counter-drone technology essential for safeguarding the lives of both soldiers and civilians. In doing so, we’re solidifying our position as a vital player in Denmark’s defense industry and a trusted partner on the international stage.

The increased geopolitical tensions have intensified the need for a rearmament in the area of defense both in Denmark and the rest of the EU. The investment in our new production center not only gives us the opportunity to increase our capacity, but also to create more jobs and contribute to Denmark’s position as a strategic actor within the European defense industry.
