MyDefence Delivers Record 2025 Results and Expands Global Counter-Drone Operations

The war in Ukraine has shown the world what drones can do. MyDefence has shown what can stop them. In 2025, the company delivered financial results that confirm a viable and scalable business model.

One of Denmark’s fastest-growing defence companies operates out of an industrial area in Nørresundby.
From here, MyDefence has, in 2025, delivered counter-drone technology to armed forces worldwide – and generated a profit of DKK 125 million. A record.

Aalborg, May 21, 2026 – Just four years ago, MyDefence generated a profit of less than DKK 1 million. In 2025, that figure has increased more than 125-fold. This reflects not only the company’s own growth, but a fundamental shift in how the world is responding to the drone threat. What was once specialised equipment for niche operations is now a baseline requirement in modern defence.

MyDefence delivers solutions across the entire operational chain – from individual soldiers equipped with wearable detectors to vehicle-mounted jammers and software systems that provide commanders with real-time airspace awareness. The company’s software leverages AI-driven analysis for real-time classification of drone threats, enabling faster and more accurate decision-making. In 2025, the overall product portfolio has been further strengthened, and new confidential development agreements have been initiated, with expected impact from 2026.

“The market has grown, and we have grown with it. But we have not simply followed the trend – we have helped define what modern counter-drone technology must deliver”

Dan Hermansen, CEO of MyDefence

Another Record Year

MyDefence A/S delivers another strong performance in 2025, reporting a net profit of DKK 125.4 million (TDKK 125,388), despite increased investments in global expansion.

Gross profit rose significantly by 17.4% to DKK 252.0 million (TDKK 251,984), reflecting both the strength of the underlying business and growing global demand for the company’s counter-drone solutions. Maintaining earnings at 2024 levels while simultaneously financing growth without reliance on external capital highlights the robustness and resilience of the business model.

Scaling People and Presence

The company has significantly expanded its workforce, growing from 52 employees at the beginning of 2025 to 135 employees as of May 2026 – with further hiring underway. This reflects a deliberate investment in what remains MyDefence’s most important asset: the people who transform technology from concept into operational capability.

Today, MyDefence has established a strong global footprint. The company operates full-scale production in both Denmark and the United States, has established an innovation hub in Ukraine with direct frontline collaboration, and maintains offices in the UK and Singapore, with additional locations planned.

This structure is designed for speed, local presence, and scalability – forming the foundation of a circular business model in which frontline insights are continuously integrated into the technology and distributed globally through rapid software updates. This feedback loop between real-world operations and technological development is one of MyDefence’s key competitive advantages

Outlook for 2026

Following a strong start to 2026, MyDefence upgrades its outlook and now targets a doubling of EBITDA growth compared to the previously guided 30–40%.

This is an ambitious target, but one grounded in a solid foundation: a strong order backlog, proven technology, and a geopolitical environment that, unfortunately, does not point toward declining demand for protection against drone threats.

Today, the company represents more than a Danish success story. It demonstrates that it is possible to build a globally competitive defence company from Denmark – and that it can be done profitably.
