Key Components of the MyDefence Situational Awareness Counter-UAS System
In the IRIS Situational Awareness counter-UAS system, sensor correlation plays a crucial role in ensuring reliable detection and mitigation of drone threats. By consolidating data from RF drone detectors, radars, and visual systems, IRIS eliminates confusion, reduces false alarms, and enhances situational awareness.
- Radars: From short-range to long-range, radars play a vital role in detecting aerial and ground threats at an early stage. These systems provide critical tracking and classification data, which can then be combined with other sensor inputs to create an accurate operational picture.
- EO/IR Cameras: Electro-optical and infrared cameras strengthen visual confirmation and identification. As a result, threats can be monitored and tracked effectively in both day and night conditions. Their integration ensures a smooth transition from detection to identification.
- Mitigation Systems: Our integrated setup includes advanced jammers and spoofers that actively neutralize drone threats. These systems are configured to minimize collateral disruption while ensuring effective threat mitigation.

Product Integration
MyDefence integrates advanced technologies to provide a unified and dependable drone defence overview. By combining data from RF detectors, jammers, radars, and cameras, it creates a strong, multi-layered system that ensures faster and more precise responses to drone threats.
Our Watchdog and Wolfpack RF sensors detect and track drones by analyzing control signals, video feeds, and operator activity. They provide early warning and crucial details such as drone make, model, and geolocation, enabling real-time threat identification.
Electro-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) cameras enhance identification and tracking. Integrated with the IRIS, Situational Awareness System, they ensure continuous visual monitoring and high-precision targeting, day or night.
Radars, ranging from short- to long-range, detect drones across low-altitude airspace and provide accurate location information. When fused with RF and visual data, they provide complete situational awareness, tracking multiple threats simultaneously.
Integrated RF jammers, neutralize threats by disrupting communication between drones and their operators, or impairing
their reception of GNSS. With precise, directional jamming, these systems minimize collateral interference while effectively countering drones.
By fusing threat information from multiple sources and sensor types the confidence that a particular threat is in fact a drone is increased, thereby reducing the number of false positives. Low false alarm rate is key to building the trustworthiness of the entire system
