Danish Counter-Drone Company Takes Aim at Poland’s Drone Crisis

Danish counter-drone firm, MyDefence has planted its flag in NATO’s fastestrearming nation, opening a Warsaw office as Poland races to close its drone defence gap.

Warsaw, June 1, 2026. Danish counter-drone company MyDefence has established a permanent presence in Poland, appointing Paulina Epler as Country Director. Paulina most recently served on the board of Raytheon Polska, where she played a key role in expanding the company’s operations and reinforcing its long-term presence in the Polish defence market.

The new office gives MyDefence a dedicated presence in Poland – one of few Danish defence tech companies to have one. Poland has committed to spending 5% of GDP on defence in 2025, the highest share of any NATO member.

Paulinas career spans both sides of Polish defence procurement: she has held roles at the Polish Air Force HQ and Polish Defence Holding, and built her industry experience at PIT-RADWAR and Thales Polska. before joining Raytheon. At Raytheon Polska held board responsibility for growth strategy and regulatory compliance, including industrial cooperation obligations with Polish stateowned partners.

“Poland is investing in air defence at a pace we have not seen in a generation, and the window to establish real partnerships, not just sales relationships, is right now,” said Dan Hermansen, CEO of MyDefence. “Paulina has built those relationships from both sides of the table. That is exactly what this market requires.”

MyDefence produces counter-drone detection and defeat systems currently deployed with NATO-member armed forces. Paulina will lead engagement with Polish defence authorities, the armed forces, and industry partners from the Warsaw office.
